feeling like shit - climbing stronger then ever...???

lack of sleep, a lot of work done and in front, a cold and 20C made me feel totally wasted even before starting with climbing and i nearly fell sleep after warmup - or did i?! first i wanted to call it a day after noon i was just too tired and i felt way too weak for the "fisch"...

but as i was up there at the paese-sector i went over to "no mystery" to have a closer look to the low-start... and what then happened was some of the things i just don't understand in bouldering: i was super close to climb two super hard boulders.... watch the pics (click to watch BIG) for the story of "THE" day...

on the way to chironico, getting some work done while traveling down to ticino by train...

getting the closer look to the little crimp for the big move while climbing into the crux of "no mystery" from the low start. close to the ground  - but cool moves - and they complete the line - i LIKE!!!

getting CONTACT at the rail for at least 10times... but...

was just not able yet to hold on long enough yet... i will be BACK ;)

then i felt getting tired, the cold made my head spinning... but i decided to take the 50min walk to the "fisch" to get in some "endurance-training..." - nice sunset on my walk down....

on my second try from the start i surprised myself and managed to get over the super hard starting-moves - had a hell of a fight - did NOT get cold fingers as the last 30+times... and suddenly found myself on the lip - just the mantel in front of me - 100times done before....

i gave all i had, BUT went down 5cm before getting the "rescue-hold" on the mantel...

and yes, it was getting pretty LOUD for a moment in the woods...

and you can't stop when you feel so shitty but climb so strong - can you?!
a muerte on the "fisch"... ;)

it turned out to be a great day and i am perfectly on my "schedule" to get in shape by the start of march... but after all it was a great opportunity i just had missed. last year i went down there 30+ times with frozen fingers, had one day which was perfect and blew it on the same move... but that was middle april and i am positive to get even stronger on the "fisch" during the next days/weeks as this was just my third visit this season... and i keep my fingers crossed, that i don't fu*k it up again when i get another day with  perfect conditions like the one last week...!!!
